Flat Tire Blues

I knew for a long time that one particular tire on the car was bad. I didn't tell anyone but when I got down to look at it once, I could see steel. Being a single woman I took matters into my own hands this morning when I went out to go away and saw that it was almost totally flat. I didn't panic. I got in, drove the car three blocks to the gas station and filled it up with air. Then I drove to the service station and told the guy, "I need a new tire". Thankfully he had the size I needed and said it would take ten minutes and $35. I walked to the cafe, got us both a cup of coffee and went back just as he finished up. Of course that $35 would have been more fun spent elsewhere but thank the good Lord we had the money in the first place. I didn't panic, I didn't call around to get the best price etc. I just got in my car and did what needed to be done. Didn't have to ask permission to buy a new tire from anyone! I am woman, hear me roar! What else needs to be done?!
